LANDLORD GAS SAFETY CHECKS (CP12S)
In 1996 it became law for all landlords who rent or lease part or all of their property to have all gas appliances and the service pipe work inspected every 12 months and have a certificate issued to prove this. From September 2015 it is also mandatory to have at least one carbon monoxide alarm fitted. We are happy to deal directly with your tenants regarding access to limit the hassle to yourself. If you have a CP12 and a boiler service at the same time, we will carry the service out at half price.

BOILER INSTALLS AND BREAKDOWNS
Considering a new boiler or having alterations made to your home? Our skilled engineers have the experience and knowledge to help you choose the right system for your property and your family. With so many types of boiler on the market it can be difficult to understand which one is best suited to your home.
- A condensing boiler will help to reduce annual fuel bills as well as your carbon footprint.
- A combination boiler (COMBI) is water mains fed, providing instant hot water and heating. COMBI boilers are very energy efficient as they only heat the water you use. Combi boiler technology has improved greatly in a short while.
- The system boiler can be positioned in the loft space and eliminates the need for the Feed and Expansion tank (the small one in the loft.)The benefits of this are it’s a sealed system so no air or muck gets drawn into the system via the F&E tank which helps eliminate the risk of breakdowns due to sludge.
- The conventional boilers are the most common choice and are now designed small enough to fit in Kitchen cupboards.
All these boilers will need to be flued to outside.
